I recently reviewed my highest pulling ads and discovered the ones that used double power words in them were literally double the click through rate.  My ads that use this formula are pulling more than the others. For example: Discover the secret training resource that has helped thousands start booming Internet businesses here. You’ll note there are the two power words Discover and Secret.  This ad literally pulls in double the traffic and double the click per sale ratio than any other ad I’m using. So now I’m using what i call the double power formula on everything.

Other power words that combine well are “Revolutionary New” “No Risk Proven” and “Surefire Easy”.

It can work against you if you go into over kill for example “Amazing Sensational”. But “Sensational New” has more of a pull.

Try this formula with a few of your ads and see how you go. You may need to experiment with the right combination for your particular industry. But we’ve given you a good start here. Also note what ads you, yourself are clicking on this week. See if they are using the double power formula to pull you. This way you will build up a more intuitive feel for what power words to combine and which ones not to. Double the right power words and you will double your profits.

Consider this. According to research on email marketing campaigns it takes as much as 7 emails to get a positive and convinced attitude from your reader. The response of a bulk email campaign can vary according to your targeted market. So the key is building a relationship with ongoing interesting messages that give a little while asking the reader to spend a little.

The key to building this relationship is by offering good content, useful information and great deals on whatever you are selling. You also do not want to bombard your database. About once a week is tolerable. Once ever 3 weeks is better. If you manage to create good content then you’ll have your subscribers eagerly rushing to open your infrequent message.

Email marketing can be time consuming and at first you may not get the results you want because you have not built up the trust of your readers. Automating your campaigns can be done through software. Like anything with Internet Marketing you want to automate everything you do and put it on auto pilot. If you don’t you will be spending lots of time in front of your computer writing and fiddling around with forms which may not amount to that leveraged income you’ve been looking for.

There is quite a lot of email marketing software available but many of them are very difficult to use and require learning. You want to find one that has a very easy to follow interface and you can pick up most of it just by looking and clicking.  The key elements of email automation tools or email marketing software are what you want to get out of your product, otherwise you’ll have to invest in several different tools and that can become costly.

Automation in Internet Marketing really is the key. Email marketing is no exception. You can do a search online for email software or email automation tools to compare the features and prices. Be wary of the free tools out there as many of them will come with a tag line at the top with an add for the developers product. This seriously dilutes your sales message and does nothing to build your relationship with your customer as a serious internet marketer. Serious internet marketers who make serious money use serious automation tools.

Firstly, when you set up your twitter account at www.twitter.com, if you are using if for internet marketing, you want to make your user name a keyword. For example my twitter user name is webmarketing09. I wanted to use Internet Marketing but Twitter only let use so many characters.

You need to optimize your look at feel for gathering the right followers. Successful Internet marketing is all about targeting the right type of traffic to take the right kind of action and Twitter marketing is no different. So making your Twitter account look like your key market is important. For example you would not choose a background with flowers on it in pink if you are wanting to attract people from the business industry.

When you first login to your Twitter account, click on settings then design in the menu bar at the top. In here you can change your background. Another good site to go to where you can have more design options is www.freetwitterdesigner.com.  To upload your picture simply click the image at the top left of your screen and follow the instructions there.

In the Settings menu you will also want to add your bio. This is where people will decide whether or not to follow you. So here you will want to put in your keywords of your target audience. My bio reads: Keeping You and Me Up-to-date on Web Marketing, Internet Marketing, Internet Opportunities, Internet Tools, SEO, Email Marketing, Social Media Tools.

Now it’s time to get followers. There are a lot of free and paid tools out there. www.twollow.com and www.socialoomph.com both offer a 7 day free trial to get followers. Personally I like twollow better for this purpose because they seem to get more quality followers for you. I didn’t notice too much of a flurry with the 7 day free trial for Social Oomph (which use to be called Tweet Later).  There is also another free tool you can use at www.autofollowtwitter.com. This is easy once you figure out how to use it. All of these tools allow you to follow people who follow you automatically so you don’t have login to your account and click each follower individually. This is too time consuming.

HOT TIP: Never follow more than 200 new people a day or you will run the risk of having Twitter shut your account down for spamming or doing something they don’t approve of.  You’ll see many internet marketing and twitter tools advertising they’ll get you 1,000’s of new followers a day. This is only really possible if you happen to give good tweets. You don’t want your follower to following ratio to be more than 150% either. For example if you have 1,000 followers make sure you have no more than 1,500 that you are following.

Every few days logon on to Twitter Karma at http://dossy.org/twitter/karma . Enter your Twitter account and press Whack! This will get rid of anyone who has not followed you in the past few days, which basically means they do not have auto follow or are fussy about who they follow so do it manually. Get rid of the tire kickers so you can then start following more people who are likely to follow you.

If you intend to have several Twitter accounts to cover several industries or interests or be using social media marketing techniques you will want to automate your tweets. www.socialoomph.com is a free tool you can use for that and it manages all of your accounts in one place. You will need to sign up for the paid version if you want to repeat your tweets throughout the day. It costs about $27 a month.  www.autofollowtwitter.com is a free tool that you can use to schedule your tweets but it is complex to use and difficult to manage several accounts simultaneously.  I use both. Social Oomph is a great all round tool you can use to manage a variety of tasks without having to log in to several other twitter tools. It’s easy to use and time saving. There are number of tools I’ve also tried but not mentioned here because they are either too difficult to use or cost more than their competitors.

A word of warning about embarking on Twitter marketing. It can be very time consuming for the results you get. Some products and services do better than others as well. So automating as much of your tweeting and twitter marketing with simple to use twitter tools will be critical to the enjoyment and success of your social media endeavors. It can be a lot of fun so set it up from the beginning to have fun.

When I first starting out in internet marketing search engine optimization was relatively easy. Every one of my pages reached the number page on Google within about 4-6 weeks without fail.  In those days it was all about on page optimization. That is to say making sure your page was relevant to the keywords you were targeting and on the page frequently but not too frequently as to spam the search engines. Today on page optimization is only one part of the equation. Having a popular site through building links and traffic are part of what is called off page optimization.  How old your site is compared to your competition as well as keywords in your url and meta tags are also more important today then they were 12 years ago.

Then there’s email marketing, a dying artform as spam filters and ISP’s filter out email even if you have all opt lists. Desktop marketing is taking over, social media, blogging and building in popularity. There is so much to learn it can all be a bit daunting for the newbie. That is why it is best to learn internet marketing methodically.

Avoid all the overnight success sellers, as realistically it will take you overnight just to read and understand the first email you get from these types of schemes.  If I was starting out all over again today I’d pick the most reputable, not necessarily the cheapest, internet marketing course that came with a business and website all in one. With the advent of video learning you can get several courses today that will step you through the process one little step at a time.

But with so many of them you still need to go and find a website building software tool and build your own site. And that takes time, money and effort. While you’re building a site you’re not learning internet marketing and you’re not making money. So if you find a “business in a box” type program that automates the building of a website, hosting, and marketing of it step by step you have what you call a turn key system. And that is what i would recommend is the the best way to learn internet marketing today. It’s how I would do it. And it is actually how I do it when I want to add another business or website to my porfolio. It’ might cost you anything from $40-$500 but the time it saves you is priceless.  You simply earn money faster with theses types of business and learning programs in one.

So which particular programs i would recommend depends on what level of understanding you are at with internet marketing, the internet in general and your budget.  Here are a few that I have actually purchased and tried and liked and made money from.  I’ve also listed the ones below I have purchased and not liked.

1. The Insider Secrets To Marketing Your Own BusinessThis course if for those who want to master Internet Marketing from the beginning to the end. It covers the fundamentals and whole lot more.  This is by far the most comprehensive easy-to-follow online business system available! The best thing about this course is that once you’re in, you’re in for a life of updates on the latest and newest techniques to market your business. And if you don’t have a business idea or website, don’t worry they help you with that too.If you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and give them at least 3-4 hours a week of your time, they will put you in a moneymaking Internet business that you’re passionate about, by ELIMINATING all of the confusion and hurdles that have been blocking your path to success until now!  I’ve done this course (when it was twice the price) and refer back to it to this day and I highly recommend it.  Because everyone wants to know how much it’s going to cost upfront it’s $49 to start with 3 monthly payments of $49. 2. BeBiz Business in a BoxThis is actually my favorite and is great for anyone with not too much money to spend and needs the kid gloves. BeBiz is an easy-to-use interactive program that guides you every step of the way as you create your own Internet business from market research to building your own website (using their tools) and driving traffic to your site.  It’s an earn as you learn system and you don’t need a website or business idea to start with they give you that.  Theoretically if you have the time this week you could be earning next week. It took me a bit longer as I had other things get in the way.  It is not as comprehensive as Insider Secrets above but good for those beginning with a budget. Regardless of what program you ulitmately use to learn internet marketing, you will want to set aside your time each day to focus on that and only that. Internet marketing involves so many different aspects to it, it can be confusing and time consuming unless you methodically go through each step and put it into action as you do it.

While I plodded away learning all aspects of internet marketing I saw friends invest in that scheme, and this scam and basically saw them chasing their tail. In the end I made more money, lost virtually nothing and learned the core elements to succeed online. If you want to learn internet marketing the authentic way I hope you read on.

After stepping out of the world of the computer for a while to do some other things I’ve come back to upgrade my skills thinking so much had changed I’d better learn internet marketing all over again and get up-skilled. The very same scammy programs that were around over 12 years ago are around today with a different name and a different package. The same promises being made and the same glittery diamond carrot being dangled in front of would be internet business entrepreneurs offering overnight success. the only thing that is not the same is the number of people getting ripped off. That’s increased. Just look at the various forums and social media sites to see how many people are disillusioned with their online efforts. While schemes and trends come and go and search engines change their tactics the fundamentals of making honest money online has not changed.  Neither has human behaviour. Everyone wanting to make money online wants to make it quick and that makes you easy prey to the plethera of rip off merchants. Success today is the same as success yesterday. Success in internet marketing or running an internet business is the exact same principle of success in running offline businesses. You need lots of targeted traffic/customers ready to buy what you have to offer, so what you offer must be in demand.

Over the next few months I will be sharing with you authentic ways to learn internet marketing. The basics you can learn for free but no one will give their secrets away for free. That is reserved for the serious few who are willing to put in time, money and effort to make the serious bucks. I have actually yet to met anyone personally who has made millions without spending a dime.
